Aaron and Juliettes engagement story

It starts 3 years ago when I (Juliette) graduated high school. Aaron made me a very meticulously thought out mix CD of some of our favorite songs, complete with cover art and a track list explaining what each song meant to him. After he gave me that CD, he always told me never to forget July 19th, “It's a special day, just dont forget it ok?,” he would say. I listened to the CD so much it started skipping and I had to finally take it out of my CD player. Cut to 3 years later; Aaron and I are best friends and have been dating officially for a year. Its October 29th, a chilly fall day in St. Cloud. Aaron tells me to get dressed and get ready to go for a day of many adventures. He tells me the first place is somewhere special. I immediately know where we are going: a little island on the Mississippi that we've had a picnic at before. As we are walking down the path, we are reminiscing over the past 3 years and how much we have both grown and changed. However, one thing has stayed the same: our love and care for one another. We get to the island, but in order to get onto it, you have to cross a fallen tree that crosses the river. We cross the tree trepidatiously, and I see a bright color by a tree. We get closer and it's a picnic blanket (the same one from the year before) and an entire picnic basket. There are pictures of us hung around a tree with twine and the album Aaron made me 3 years ago is playing in the background. We sit down and Aaron brings out mementos he has kept over the years and tells me what each one represents. We laugh and talk about what good memories we have with one another. Then he brings out that back broken part of the CD case he made for me. He looks at me and with a smug grin tells me to open the back part of it. Confused, I crack open the back part of the case and two note falls out. The first tells me “Juliette if you ever find this letter don't read it, Promise me you will tell me if you find this.” Then I open up the second letter completely dumbfounded at the fact that it has been hiding in this CD for over three years. I scan over the words repeated again and again: “Juliette I love you, I love you, I love you” When my eyes see it, I stop. Confused ecstatic, and shocked I look at Aaron and say “ No way this isn't real, what?!” Aaron had written “Juliette The love of my Life, Will you Marry me?” Dated for July 19th, 2015… Aaron had been proposing to me for three years right under my nose and I was none the wiser. He told me to stand up, pulled out a little blue velvet box that held the most stunning beautiful ring I have ever seen and asked me to be his wife. With tears running down my face and shaking hands I said YES!
