Product Overview
Omega is one of the most recognized watch brands in the industry. With a deep rooted history in professional "tool" watches spanning all the way back to the late 1940's.
The Omega Seamaster line gained popularity with the introduction of the Seamaster 300. A professional grade dive watch that was worn by everyone from military personnel and special forces, to legendary diver and filmmaker Jacques-Yves Cousteau.
The Seamaster 120 was introduced in the 1970's, as the more wear friendly "brother" to the Seamaster 300.
Although this model lost some of its water resistance rating. It was touted as the more wearable watch of the two, due to its slimmer case profile and smaller case size.
This model was still used by many professionals and was worn to set the world free dive record by famous free diver Jacques Mayol in the 1980's.
This particular example is extremely sought after due to the fact that this watch was sold exclusively through famous Swiss Jewelry retailer Turler.. Hence the co-branding on the dial. A truly rare find.
